<21c2e595> The Governor of California moments ago announced a framework about how to reopen the state, and gently sent a warning to President Trump that the state’s coronavirus protocols would be guided by “science and public health, not politics.”
The plan has 6 components that must be achieved:
— Expand testing to identify and isolate the infected
— Maintain vigilance to protect seniors and high risk cases
— Be able to meet future surges in hospitals with PPE
— Continue to collaborate with academia on therapies
— Redraw regulations to ensure continued physical distancing at businesses and schools
— Develop new enforcement mechanisms to allow the state to pull back and reinstate stay-at-home orders.
