(*4cfb807c*):: I sat in on a townhall meeting in Devine, TX; an 800 mw hyperscalar is going directly adjacent to the town of 3500 people, they were not having it. The two bozos from the company thats building it (out of Spicewood) gave a rather milquetoast presentation and completely misrepresented water/power/noise. 800 mw can power half of San Antonio lol. I had a chance to speak for 3 min and got them tripped up on the water usage they presented. Literally no one at the townhall wants that shit near their town, and its obvious a few hands in Medina county are getting greased. Several people from the county and neighboring counties near hyperscalars that are already completed and operation said their wells have dropped 50 feet, and their land/home values have also dropped. It was a shit show.
