<8f79fcda> “I hope this message reaches all of you well. I wanted to tell you how disappointing it was to listen to the “Prayer of Lament” from the Pastor yesterday on the traditional service livestream. Pandering to the Leftist mob pushing for communism and insurrection in the United States is beyond disturbing and far, far beyond what I would have expected from this church.

His prayer stamped support for a secular movement that wants to abolish the family (see: <https://blacklivesmatter.com/what-we-believe>), wants to abolish church, wants to remove police officers from the streets, and wants to usher in a movement of oppression and tyranny (they speak of collectivism i.e. socialism) the likes of which we, as christians, are opposed to. The very types of people we fought against in the second world war are pushing this ideology in our schools, media, music, movies, and even churches across the nation. These dangerous ideologies have caused over 100 million lives lost in just the last century.

If you listen closely to what the Pastor said yesterday it was extremely divisive and he did everything short of kneel to this globalist BLM movement that for the past week has stood for the words: Burn, Loot, and Murder — not “Black Lives Matter”.

He only mentioned a few select victims including George Floyd. He mentioned nothing of the 750+ officers that have been injured and dozens hospitalized with head injuries from bricks (some of which are in ICU). These were violent riots, not protests. He mentioned nothing about the many people that have been murdered in broad daylight thanks to these coordinated and well-funded riots by literal terrorists. He mentioned nothing about the burning of American flags, the burning of churches, thousands of businesses lost, homes, and the defacing of American historical monuments everywhere.

How is it possible that we could condone this sort of political movement and not see right though it for what it is? This same thing happened small-scale in 2016 like clockwork during an election year. Take a look here: <https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%205-y&geo=US&q=black%20lives%20matter>

Black lives seem to only matter every 4 years and suddenly…it’s gone.
• How come no one is talking about thousands of black lives sold into Libyan slave markets as we speak?
• What about the 300,000 black lives murdered in Sudan by Arab militias?
• What about how Iran jails women for 30 years who choose to remove their hijab?
• What about the 100’s of thousands of black Muslims held in concentration camps in China right now?
• What about the 60% of annual black deaths being carried out by Planned Parenthood?
• What about the record 85 shootings in Chicago this weekend and 24 dead black people?

Where’s the outrage? Where’s the “Prayer of Lament” for that? Do you see the hypocrisy?

You know what I see? I see a country where thousands can riot and loot businesses but those same businesses can’t open and sell goods because Coronavirus. Why do these rules seem to only apply to one side? We can have tens of thousands destroy cities across the nation but we can’t attend church. We can have thousands stand shoulder-to-shoulder for “social justice” but we are forced to wear masks and stand in socially-distanced lines to buy food. This is communism-lite, and if we as a church don’t wake up it’s going to be too late.

Why are we subjecting ourselves to partisan pandering as a community? Do you realize how damaging this can be for the church and it’s future image? Pay close attention to how this BLM movement is trying to force corporations and people to choose sides. This is not a movement for Floyd and this has nothing to do with systemic racism or police brutality.
Just look at what BLM stands for: <https://blacklivesmatter.com/about/>
<https://blacklivesmatter.com/defundthepolice/> <https://blacklivesmatter.com/what-we-believe/>

<8f79fcda> Isn’t this the total opposite to what the bible teaches as acceptable? These groups are anti-Christian. These movements promote hate, division, racism, fear, violence, and oppression. Ironically, all of the things they claim to be against.

Our Pastor should apologize to the entire church community. All of you as a team of leaders should be fully aware of how I’m very likely not the only person that felt his ‘prayer’ was a political message in disguise. I just happen to be a person that isn’t afraid to be outspoken about truth — something sorely lacking in today’s discourse.”

Thank you.
