(*4e3d9761*):: https://twitter.com/_moldbridge_/status/1698117893886488634 this guy claims he can see a difference between an english face and an American face.
*** moldbridge on X
*** I can distinguish English people and Anglo-Americans by face at this point

(*4e3d9761*):: So no one told you guys this, but from what I understand, a whole lot of the founding stock in America (and other british colonies) were the result of an aristocratic eugenics (They chose some qualities and didn’t choose others) program and when that class of people simply outgrew that little island, that same class of people went to settle new colonies.
(*4e3d9761*):: I haven’t confirmed this for myself, but I heard it.
(*4297a328*):: Yeah i can tell
(*4297a328*):: If you saw one of each standing by eachother… one is a little off
(*6952cd93*):: Look how the left uses their version of critical race facts to try to “prove” that believing in government, collectivism and being against individual liberty leads to a longer life span https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2023/09/01/america-life-expectancy-regions-00113369 +public!
*** America’s Surprising Partisan Divide on Life Expectancy
*** Centuries-old settlement patterns — and the attitudes they spawned about government — are to blame for differences in longevity between red southern states and bluer parts of the country.

(*4e3d9761*):: This article has some facts in it at the start, but it quickly degrades. Let me show you where she starts using incorrect reasoning to tell a story.

(*4e3d9761*):: So, first off, its true. The scots-irish have a shorter lifespan than their New England cousins. This is basically the only piece of information in the entire article that can help you better understand the world.
(*4e3d9761*):: To better understand the world, you should say ‘The Scots-irish’, instead refering to it as a geography. It’s not the soil thats different down there, we are talking about the people.

(*4e3d9761*):: So already, the reasoning is a little wacky.
(*4e3d9761*)::

(*4e3d9761*):: Now the author is separating his samples using geographic boundaries from 300 years ago and using today’s data about people —- to draw conclusions about today to suggest that these geographies are unique (because of their geography). It would be better to use todays data and to seperate your sample by ethnicity (scots-irish/Anglo-american)
(*4e3d9761*):: I wonder if this is also Karl Popper’s legacy…
(*4e3d9761*):: He really does bend over backword to never mention the people and only refer to them as a geography.
(*4e3d9761*):: After that he just starts reasoning wildly, about government programs, hand outs etc. It turns into political activism as he guesses as to the different causes and suggesting his partisan causes.
(*4e3d9761*):: Then he starts comparing Hispanic populations with those same old geographic borders. Hispanics were not a large component of those settlements. I guess he thinks the soil changes life expectancy. His reasoning at this point has totally broken down. He is now telling a story.
(*4e3d9761*):: His entire article could be summed up with a table for life expectency for Scots-Irish, Anglo-American, and showing the difference, then a map as to where those people reside.
(*4e3d9761*):: I just realized he went through that entire article suggesting that it was the geography, rather than the people, that determined life expectancy.
(*4e3d9761*):: The reason is, is because he doesn’t want to answer his question or learn more about the world. Thats a feature, not a bug. He isn’t supposed to correctly describe the world, because then he wouldn’t have a reason at the end of the article to start suggesting stuff.

(*4e3d9761*):: He really does bend over backword to never mention the people and only refer to them as a geography.
(*4e3d9761*):: I wonder if this is also Karl Popper’s legacy…
(*4297a328*):: Seems like minds can be shaped to avoid antipodean conclusions
(*4297a328*):: It’s the intellectual equivalent of saying the world is flat so there’s no reason to get in a boat and discover new lands
(*4e3d9761*):: Then he starts comparing Hispanic populations with those same old geographic borders. I guess he thinks the soil changes life expectancy. His reasoning at this point has totally broken down. He is now telling a story.
(*4e3d9761*):: I’ve never gone through the reasoning of an article like that before, because they aren’t allowed to use real ethnicities and only zog-identities, it turns into some really funny stuff.
(*4297a328*):: And this guy wont get in a boat no matter how much says you should
(*4e3d9761*):: Its crazy how they programed everyone like this.
(*4e3d9761*):: entire legions of ‘academics’ and ‘journalists’ all writing with the same subtle style about the American People, while never mentioning them by name.
(*4297a328*):: Yeah the pervasiveness… even (or especially) in “smart kid groups”
(*4297a328*):: We’re all retards here :satisfied: thank goodness
(*4e3d9761*):: Anyway, its clear a guy like that isn’t trying to correctly describe the world. If he did correctly describe the world, he would be out of a job real quick cause that article (political propaganda) wouldn’t need to get written. Imagine entire armies of NPR followers with all this dogshit reasoning in their head.
(*4297a328*):: Need a better word than zombie
(*4297a328*):: Normie is too generic
(*4297a328*):: Zombie is too loaded culturally
(*4297a328*):: Zogbot is good but still doesnt quite describe the matter
(*4297a328*):: Slophead?
(*4297a328*):: There was a really good vid from some higher ups in the military that talked about how one of the most important elements of a military operation is naming the enemy
(*4297a328*):: And describing it’s characteristics
(*4297a328*):: So how do you do that with a network of mental artifacts
(*4297a328*):: #memewar
