(*4297a328*):: +public! I wish i bought CVE before it got this big!
(*fcf3a5b2*):: I sound crazy at work when I tell them these cyber vulnerabilities are bad, but they don’t see anything on cnbc about it
(*4e3d9761*):: Heh, I’m trying to figure out how to explain this stuff to normies without saying the sky is falling. The sky is falling for IT pros, but how does this impact a normie. Really data breaches are the most direct way, which normies have grown numb to. The thing that will really get the normies attention is a grid/water SCADA hack or their bank account getting distrupted.
(*4e3d9761*):: The worrying this is that things are getting worse in cybersecurity in general and it shows no signs of slowing down and if anything is speeding up.
(*4e3d9761*):: It’s a groundswell or progressively worse and worse bad news. My fear is it leads to some sort of ‘bad news cresendo’.
(*4297a328*):: The crescendo is “we need bitcoin to prove what’s real and what’s fake”
(*4297a328*):: It’s the solution that they’ve wanted since before bitcoin’s first block
(*4297a328*):: (Obvi #conspiracy-facts and speculation on my part)
(*4297a328*):: you’re going to have a job whether you like it or not :satisfied:
