<3d2c4e27> I just heard a discussion about the forthcoming ARK blockchain-based <http://marketsquare.io|marketsquare.io> site. This site will run off of data saved in the ARK blockchain. Since this site will be run by a legit French company it will be subject to laws about posting of illegal matter of various sorts. Accordingly the marketsquare site will filter the content shown to keep things clean from a legal perspective. Now if someone wants to create a different front end to the ARK blockchain that shows everything or uses different filtering criteria, then they can go for it. So at the blockchain level everything is wide open, but at the public presentation layer those decisions are made by the site hosting the content.

<3d2c4e27> Not sure how this relates to LBRY but it is an interesting approach to dealing with societal requirements versus the openness and freedom we want from a blockchain technology solution.
<3d2c4e27> My personal expectation is that governmental entities will go after blockchain operators their efforts to deliver a the safe model from the perspective of the average user.
