<5547a085> I have a few of the camera kits, they are 1080p. I used cvlc to stream from the /dev/camera interface directly over Wi-Fi web socket to a remote file server, but the best method was really to do it CCTV style and let the Pi cache 24 hours or so and upload in batches for review. There’s a cool open source motion detection library too that will record only when activated. The IR enabled cameras are basically psuedo night vision as well.
