<403e98f2> Why Amazon’s Ring and facial recognition technology are a clear and present danger to society

I have a ton of research that I stopped doing on amazon 2mo ago. I’ll probably start organizing it sometime soon. But this is a good article to share with a parent. Gives a good rundown that’s manageable to read.

What kind of articles are parent approved? Good content that provides links to additional info, simple and truths (aka this is what we know so far).

Best example off the top of my head is the mobile tracking nyt data piece with the cool graphics of wh and maralago.

That had great research and new info. Shows how easy this shit is for a driven reasonably compent person to rekt shit.

I’m compiling a list for my dad. A few pieces on the Chinese 14+ companies hacked, Afghan papers series, Alexa and amazon, Facebook and google.

Just to get them more proper information they can digest. My dad is well read but his sources aren’t good. Like he may have heard Alexa listens to you but you can mute it.

A few videos also. Compiling this could be beneficial to others but I’m doing it with my parents in mind.

Oh and shit about isp selling our data along with repetitive data breaches.
