(*2405d2f7*):: So if Kash Patel gets rid of the FBI .. who would investigate things like the New Orleans guy?
(*4cfb807c*):: Don’t you mean, who will instigate things like the New Orleans attack? Lol
(*2405d2f7*):: no
(*2405d2f7*):: the question is a serious one. Who would investigate such things if FBI goes away.. If there a new national level domestic law enforcement/investigation arm?
(*4cfb807c*):: Wait, so the FBI investigates things? Thats news…

(*4cfb807c*):: Bourbon street is awesome imo, i generally always enjoy New Orleans. All the drunk ruffians ive seen on that street and the vibes are generally always high, and its always good to see people out enjoying themselves. Bourbon street has all ages, families, singles, couples, all races, and you see southerners from other states there. I’ve been around the aftermath of a shooting near where my car was parked one time there. But this kind of shit is far beyond drunks, thief’s, or small scale gang crime. NOLA is a cultural capital of its own and a 200 year old city. I’ve not seen 6th street in ATX get as big of crowds since 2020. Even the biggest 6th street crowd ive ever seen was SXSW 2015/16, and was not as large as Bourbon street on an off-season Thursday night lol.

(*2405d2f7*):: So if Kash Patel gets rid of the FBI .. who would investigate things like the New Orleans guy?
(*b4c3b42a*):: state investigative agencies
(*b4c3b42a*):: the common argument against this is investigating interstate crimes. Go start a high speed chase near the border of Texas and Oklahoma, cross state lines, and let me know how impossible it is for state police agencies to cooperate with eachother.
(*b4c3b42a*):: the way our federalist system is supposed to work
