(*9e57e12c*):: this is a topic i’m really in. for normies urban operations feel like walking into a panopticon, to the degree techniques for evading cameras/plate scanners/mobile towers is widely known.. cant decide if good thing or bad
(*4cfb807c*):: It’s really a great write up, she talks about how easily Luigi would have evaded capture with just the barest bit of more discipline. The reason he got hit with the murder charge is he KEPT everything from the crime, including the fake ID to check into the hostel, otherwise even his being confronted by police at McDs wouldnt have amounted to anything. And he gave the police who confronted him a McD’s a fake ID, which gave them probably cause. He could have just refused to ID, and been let go, and if they searched or harassed him further itd have been in his lawyers ball court. And WHY wasn’t he laying low? He could have just done nothing but play video games at home for a month and order pizza, discarded/destroyed all crime related articles, including the gun, suppressor, fake id’s, etc, and the trail would have been cold. Her infiltration/exfiltration section is also great. She makes the case that while Manhattan is one of the most camera dense places in the world, proper opsec still holds water.
(*4cfb807c*):: “There was literally no reason for him to hold onto the hottest murder weapon in American … he could have just 3d printed another one…”
(*4cfb807c*):: She also covers it’s plausible all the evidence was planted, etc etc, but it’s more an exegesis of the details as reported
(*4cfb807c*)::
For 5 days Luigi was the most wanted man on earth, having committed one of the most high profile crimes in the history of one of the most surveilled cities on the planet, in the heart of its high security core… His smile graced national television within 24 hours… AND YET! In an age of social media, facial recognition, and mass surveillance… No one, not the government, not some OSINT sleuth, not 4chan knew who he was.
(*4cfb807c*):: Tldr: he pulled it off and got away, but made retarded post-op choices

(*4cfb807c*):: Lesson: don’t be walking around with the very evidence that ties you to high profile crime on your person
